Are you a woman entrepreneur ready to start networking? Really networking

Or maybe you try to network but you just aren’t seeing any results.

We all know that networking is one of the most important things that you can do for the success of your business and your career. However, studies show that by the time we reach the age of 35, women network at half the rate of our male counterparts. I’m not okay with this. It's holding us back as women business owners and as women executives.

So, I set out to find out why.

Over the past several years, I have surveyed women on this subject both formally and informally. I talk to the women that attend my networking workshops. I listen to the women in the groups I’m associated with. And, I have conducted written surveys to get to the bottom of our reasons for not putting ourselves out there.

On the surface, I hear things like “I don’t have enough time” or “I have small kids and have to be home in the evenings” or “my husband is really advancing at work right now and its his turn to shine.” Even though these sound good and are completely legit, I call these excuses. They are excuses because if you really wanted to network these things wouldn’t stand in your way. You would find opportunities to work around and within each of these. But we don’t.

So, I call them excuses.

When I challenge women to tell me why they really don’t take the time to network, I start to hear things like

• “I don’t know what to say or how to get started”
• “I’m an introvert and really uncomfortable in networking situations”
• “I’ve been networking for years but have never really seen any results.”

Now, those are things I can work with. And things that I can help you fix. And that’s why I’ve created the Minerva 3-Day Networking Challenge. This challenge is a 3-day video series that will get you through what’s keeping you from networking and turn you into that confident woman who not only meets new people with ease but also knows how to develop those connections into mutually beneficial relationships.

So, this is for all of you who know you should be networking – you know its critical to your business success – but don’t because you feel it’s disingenuous, you don’t know what to say or where to even start. This challenge is for you.

I’ve taken the guess work out by helping you develop a strategic approach to networking that works for you and your goals. Then I’ll show you how to build real relationships that will serve you, your career, and your business for years.

Are you ready?
